1. Acceptance of the terms

By downloading, accessing or using Cam2000, you agree to these terms of use. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the application or website.

2. The Cam2000 service

Cam2000 is an iOS camera application that recreates the look and feel of early digital cameras and camcorders. Features, cameras and compatibility may evolve over time. The current App Store listing describes the version available to you.

No registration or user account is required to use Cam2000.

3. Subscriptions and free trials

Cam2000 may offer optional auto-renewing subscriptions that unlock premium features:

• a monthly subscription with a 3-day free trial; and
• an annual subscription with a 7-day free trial.

Free trials are available to eligible new subscribers. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the trial, your Apple ID account will be charged for the selected subscription. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when a subscription is purchased.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before that period ends.

You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID subscription settings. Deleting Cam2000 does not cancel an active subscription. Prices are displayed in the application or on the App Store and may vary by country or currency. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its applicable policies.

4. Camera access and your content

Cam2000 only accesses your camera, microphone or photo library when you grant the corresponding permission through iOS. You remain the owner of the photos and videos you create or import. You are responsible for ensuring that your content and your use of the application respect applicable law and the rights of others.

5. Intellectual property

Cam2000, its website, software, name, logo, interface, graphics and original content are protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the application for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer or exploit Cam2000 except where applicable law expressly permits it.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse Cam2000, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, use it for unlawful purposes, or infringe the rights of another person. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect Cam2000, its users or third parties.

7. Availability and warranties

Cam2000 is provided on an “as available” basis. We work to keep the service reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, compatibility with every device, or that every camera or feature shown on the website will remain available in every version. Maintenance, updates and events outside our control may temporarily affect the service.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cam2000 and its publisher are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of, or inability to use, the application or website. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

9. Third-party services

Downloading Cam2000, purchasing a subscription and managing payment involve services provided by Apple. Those services are governed by Apple’s own terms and policies. Links on the website may also lead to third-party services that Cam2000 does not control.

10. Changes to Cam2000 or these terms

We may update Cam2000 and these terms to reflect new features, legal requirements or changes to the service. The date at the top of this page identifies the latest version. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Any mandatory rights and jurisdiction rules available to consumers in their country of residence remain unaffected.
